Salvador Dali 

  

Spanish artist Salvador Dali was a groundbreaking icon of the surrealist movement and one of  the greatest artist of the 20th century. His work probed the unconscious world of thoughts, dreams and perception in fanciful and nightmarish images influenced  by Freud, Cubism, Futurism and metaphysical art. Exstraordinarily  imaginative, he also sculpted, and contributed to fashion, photography and theater. Dali's art has been called the epitome of surrealism.

Amedeo Clemente Modigliani 

Amedeo Modigliani was born Jewish - separdebis Flamingo and modilianisa

Eugenia garsinis family in Livorno. 

Mother nature has had the greatest impact on the young Modigliani's romantic outlook. Mother's diary, which he produced after birth Amedeo, is - one source confirming the artist's life.

Ivan Aivazovsky 

Russian marine painter 

Ivan Aivazovsky (1817-1900) was a Russian painter of Armenian origin . He was probably the greatest painter of seascapes in the history of art; he captures the sea in all of its many moods. His output was enormous - somewhere around 6000 works are attributed to him.
I'll be posting sets of Aivazovsky's work periodically. There is a lot of it. 

Throughout his lifetime, Aivazovsky contributed over 6,000 paintings to the art world, ranging from his early landscapes of the Crimean countryside to the seascapes and coastal scenes for which he is most famous. Aivazovsky was especially effective at developing the play of light in his paintings, sometimes applying layers of color to create a transparent quality, a technique for which they are highly admired

Sighnaghi 

Sighnaghi (Georgian) is a town in Georgia's easternmost region of Kakheti and the administrative center of the Sighnagi Districts. It is one of the country's smallest towns with a population of 2,146 as of the 2002 census.Sighnaghi's economy is dominated by the production of wine, traditional carpets, and Georgian traditional food Mcvadi. The town and its environs are also known for their landscapes and historical monuments. Sighnaghi has recently undergone a fundamental reconstruction program and has become an important center of Georgia's tourist industry.

Shaori Lake 

Shaori Lake, which is in Racha in the west of Georgia. There are the crisp air and fresh clean water and the fantastic scenery, including the view of the snow-white caucasus  mountains. There is the famous Nikortsminda church not far away. There are a very interesting and beautiful places. 

DMANISI

The town of Dmanisi is first mentioned in the 9th century as a possession of the Arab emirate of Tbilisi, though the area had been settled since the Early Bronze Age. An Orthodox Christian cathedral – “Dmansis Sioni” – was built there in the 6th century. Located on the confluence of trading routes and cultural influences, Dmanisi was of particular importance, growing into a major commercial center of medieval Georgia. The town was conquered by the Seljuk Turks in the 1080s, but was later liberated by the Georgian kingsDavid the Builder and Demetrios I between 1123 and 1125. The Turco-Mongol armies under Timur laid waste to the town in the 14th century. Sacked again by the Turkomans in 1486, Dmanisi never recovered and declined to a scarcely inhabited village by the 18th century. 

VARDZIA 

Vardzia, the cave city, is located at the central southern part of Georgia.This is the city  carved in a huge rick more then more then 700 years ago. Vardzia isbuilt in the 900 meters long rock and has 12-14 levels in height. Building up this place started in 1156 by other of king of Georgia, George III and was finished by the king  Tamar at the right begining of 13th  century. The complex includes more then 240 well preserved caves, but initial number  of the rooms was more than 400. On the way to Vardzia travelers will be able to visit following place: Mtskheta town, Stalin`s home town, mineral water resort-borjomi, Akhaltsikhe (Rabati) Khertvisi fortreses, invincible fortress of Tmogvi and Vardzia  it-self. This tour is made as circle trip, that means driving back to Tbilisi an other way.

AT A CERTAIN LAST INSTANT

It probably becomes a book of silence. You can`t see the war in it but it`s really there.And what you see depicted in the photos might no longer exist. Something does and somethings does not. The mountain will always stay picturesque, exciting, eternal and attractive, but the lives of the people in these place turned out to be pretty differend. This book gives you the feeling of isolation. There is no link between the people and the place. There is only menacing silince. Everything is hardened into stone and fozen at the certain last instant. The whole picture turned into a still-life: a lifeless hand with a glass in it, a playing girl in the air, a car stuck standing on one wheel. This is exactly what has happened. This is the essence of the book. It reminds of an old Georgian fairy tale- events go from bad to worse and you are still sure that the and will be happy.
